Camp Josepho Resident Camp

For Scouts not able to afford Emerald Bay there is a cheaper, shorter alternative. Camp Josepho in the Pacific Palisades has a 4-Day Resident Camp for Scouts and WEBELOS. There are two Sessions:

Session 1: July 6-9

Session 2: July 13-16

Cost is $275 per a Scout and $90 per Adult. Camperships may be available.

Scouts go as individuals, not as a Troop.

Troop 2016 Advancement Guidelines

As I have stated previously, the requirements for all of the Ranks have changed effective January 1, 2016. 2016 will be a transition year. Scouts that joined prior to January 1, 2016 may switch to the new requirements now or may continue on the old requirements until they reach First Class or their next Rank. Scouts that joined in 2016 must start using the new requirements. Effective January 1, 2017 every Scout must switch to the new requirements.

I have created guidelines for our Troop on who can sign off each requirement and what is expected for each requirement. I will be placing these guidelines on the Troop website in the Advancement Section for each Rank. The complete set of guidelines can be found below. Please let me know if you have any questions.
