Scout Stores – West LA & Valley Locations

Your local Scout Store is the West Los Angeles Scout Store located at:  10131 National Blvd., Suite A, Los Angeles, CA 90034.  Their phone is 310-839-9905.  Please note that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays and may be closed on Holidays and a few days prior to Camporee.

Merit Badges

While only 21 Merit Badges are required to make Eagle (13 required and 8 additional  electives), there are over 100 Merit Badges that can be earned.  Additional Palm awards are available for those Scouts that exceed the minimum number of badges.  The Merit Badge list is continually updated as new ones are added.  Council and District

Troop 113 is a member of the Crescent Bay District of the Western Los Angeles County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Our Council has three wonderful Scout Camps:

Camp Josepho located in Pacific Palisades

Camp Emerald Bay on Catalina Island

Camp Whitsett located in Tulare County in the Southern Sierras.

Guide to Safe Scouting contains all the safety information for ALL Scouting activities and also states which activities are allowed and not allowed.

Youth Protection Training (YPT) is REQUIRED every two years for ALL registered Adults in the Troop.
