Courts of Honor

Three to four times per year the Troop holds a Court of Honor. The purpose of the Court of Honor is for the entire Troop and families get together to to recognize advancement completed since the last Court of Honor. Courts of Honor are held either at the Scout House, a school, a park, or other appropriate location. Scout families are invited to attend and are usually asked to bring food items to the Court of Honor. Slide shows of recent Troop activities and other activities are also planned during the Court of Honor.

All Rank Advancement, completed Merit Badge Blue Cards, and other advancement must be turned into the Troop Advancement Chair no later than one week prior to the Court of Honor.

Some Courts of Honor are Eagle Courts which focus on awarding one or more Scouts with their Eagle Rank.
